HTTPS pages cannot call an HTTP gateway. Browsers block mixed content, so /chat on GitHub Pages will not reach http://…:18789 directly. Run Actions → Deploy OpenClaw chat proxy (GCP), then re-run CI so the site build picks up secret PUBLIC_OPENCLAW_CHAT_PROXY_URL (HTTPS proxy).
